Levitation magnet is something very hard. So I can not see every day. With a magnetic levitation, the magnetic fields with the computer continuously adjusted to keep work forces, as they are needed. You will not be able to do a project. Even something like this:

They have a pair of magnets to buy the most balanced. For this project you will do instead, as something real to float.
